Area Agency on Aging Plan

The 2008-12 Area Plan on Aging (referred to in this document as 'the Area Plan') is a four-year plan that covers the planning cycle from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2012. The four-year planning period, with the opportunity for submitting annual amendments to the Area Plan, will allow the Area Agencies on Aging (referred to in this document as 'Area Agencies') to focus their time and resources in the performance areas. The plan also affords Area Agencies the opportunity to build on the initiatives outlined in the 2007-11 State Aging Services Plan, prepared by the Division of Aging and Adult Services.
